Please read the story line first... The Story Of Who.
You must have the Chi3D Browser
installed on your computer to play.
Notes:
If you are new to our software, you may want to read the help
file, Moving Around.
All items in HomeOne are click to buy, so be sure it is an item you really want and click
on it only once. Just point your mouse cursor to an item to see it's description.
If you are playing as a Guest and have not joined as a Member, Guest's game stats are not
permanent.
When you first arrive in HomeOne, you will find yourself in front of the Welcome
Center. Allow a couple of
minutes to let all the rich media download. You will only have to do this the first time
you enter HomeOne. Each time you log out of HomeOne, when you
log back in, you will be returned to the same spot as you left.
To enter buildings in HomeOne, point your mouse cursor at a door and left click to
open. Some doors like at the
Welcome Center will open automatically as you approach the door. Some doors are locked,
like a Premium home door and only the owner can open the door. Some doors you may have to
search for the "switch" to get it open.
The first thing you may notice in your chat history screen is the Game Master
telling you what your health stats are. As in real
life, you must eat. Hint: If you remember the story line, the
Who family is known to drop gifts for the citizens of HomeOne. These are called boons.
there can be several different boons to discover to help you with the game. Enter the
Welcome Center and find your first boon. This
will give you enough money to go and find the bait and tackle shop, southwest of the
Welcome Center, to buy a fishing pole. Once you purchased
your fishing pole, head down to the waters edge to start fishing. Once you have caught
some fish, you can go back to the bait shop to sell those fish. Next, find a shop that
sells food and purchase some food. If you do not eat, you will die and find yourself in
the HomeOne cemetery.
This might be a good time to familiarize yourself with the
game commands.
Hint #2:
If your luck is not to good fishing the first time and you are running
out of nutrition, head northeast from the bait shop to find the Who Mall. You just may
find a food gift if you search for it.
By now you have figured out that HomeOne runs by a virtual economy called Who
Bucks. There are other ways to earn money in HomeOne besides fishing and finding boons.
Watch for events like motor
bike &
sail board racing to win virtual
cash prizes. Hunting to sell your pelts. Familiarize yourself with the running of the game
and you may be able to get a job with the city for a monthly pay check. Hint #3: Remember
about the story line "Is it true or just an urban legend?"?
More Hints to come... maybe.
